There are five new affiliate spaces that have opened up!

To apply to be an affiliate, please send an e-mail with the address of your site. If there are no spaces available, you can still e-mail me with a request for SWCC to link to your site. I will generally grant this, if you link back to SWCC and I think the content of the site is appropriate. You can find my e-mail address on the SITE page.

If you wish to affiliate with SWCC, there are certain rules you must abide by before you can apply.

1. Your site must be about Star Wars, preferably a site dedicated to a minor character, original character, or minor character fan fiction, but all Star Wars sites are accepted.

2. Your site must have PG-13 or lower content for the most part, and a clear warning on anything rated above PG-13. I will NOT link to slash sites or others that I deem inappropriate.

3. Your site must be easy on the eye and easy to navigate.

4. It must also be updated regularly. I've come across too many dead sites recently. This is the main reason why the affiliate spaces have opened up. To remain an affiliate, you must do at least one of the following: Regular updates*, (i.e. at least one update* on average every 1 – 2 months), had new content recently added, (i.e. a new fan fic, new fan art, etc), or change the layout. If none of these has happended for over a year, then I will assume that you no are no longer interested in running the site, or it’s been abandoned.

5. If you have moved the location of your site, and haven’t informed me, then don’t be surprised if I revoke my affiliation with you. I like my affiliates to keep in contact with me and if an affiliate doesn’t do this, then I’ll just think that you are no longer interested in affiliating with me.

6. It doesn't matter to me if you have a domain name or not, just comply with the above and you are likely to be accepted.

*updates don’t have to be new content being added, they can just be a small message so that folks know that you are still running the site and are acceptable if for some reason, the site has to go on hiatus while you’re at college/university, moving house, losing your regular internet connection, etc.
